Kids In Need, Inc. was the brainchild of the late Keith F. James (1952-2012) and Edmund Lothian to aid primary-aged children with computer knowledge. Since its formation the organization has provided scholarships and school uniforms for children as well as assisted with the building of schools, provided public address systems, televisions, fax machines, books for school libraries, and computers.
The Lethia Edmond Scholarship fund was awarded to Kevin and Shakira, both of whom attended Mount Salem Primary School and were sponsored from grades 1 through 6 with all school needs including lunch. Both Kevin and Shakira went on to high school in September, 2012.
A new scholarship fund was launched in 2013 in memory of one of our founders, Keith F. James.
